Peoples-uni Offers Public Health Capacity Building
The Peoples Open Access Educational Initiative (Peoples-uni) provides public health capacity building for low- to middle-income countries. The program utilizes open online educational resources and volunteer international faculty who develop modules and guide web-based discussions covering the foundations and science of public health, as well as issues facing the community. Certificates and diplomas are awarded twice yearly.
Most low- to middle-income countries are currently coping with a wide range of health problems. A trained professional workforce is essential to maintain public health. Peoples-uni offers an e-learning opportunity to potential students in these countries.
