Webinar on eLearning for the Frontline to Prevent Maternal Death
[GLOBAL] The Global Alliance for Nursing and Midwifery is hosting a free webinar on June 3, "Bringing Learning to the Frontline: New Global eLearning Modules to Prevent Maternal Death," hosted by Julia Bluestone. The webinar will discuss an eLearning program developed to address major impediments to the achievement of MDGs 4 and 5 - critical shortages of human resources for health with midwifery skills and quality of care issues that result from inadequate and sub-standard trainings of the health care workforce.
The innovative program relies on the Intel SKOOOL health education platform, which is a multi-media content delivery and assessment solution that enables education to take place anywhere, anytime, with intermittent connectivity using low-cost laptops/netbooks that health workers can be trained to use.
