Human Resources Development for Health Course
The Royal Tropical Institute will offer a course in Human Resources Development for Health from March 8-19, 2010. The course highlights the knowledge and skills that health managers require for human resource management. Topics covered in the course include the following:
- Identification of various functions and stakeholders of human resources management in the health sector;
- Strategic planning of human resources;
- Training and career development;
- Motivation and retention of personnel;
- Performance management issues; and
- Organizational development and leadership.
