Training Course on Workload Indicators of Staffing Need Tool
[SUDAN] The Federal Ministry of Sudan is offering a course on the World Health Organization's "Workload Indicators of Staffing Need" (WISN) tool on March 14-18 in Khartoum. The course is designed for human resources for health mangers at national and sub-national levels with the following learning objectives:
- determine how best to improve current staffing;
- plan future staffing;
- assess where performance is currently low;
- examine impact of different employment conditions on staffing;
- assess workload pressure;
- strengthen recording and documentation systems in health facilities. [adapted from training brochure]
