Human Resources for Health Results Research Symposium
The World Bank Africa Health Workforce Program will host the “Human Resources for Health Results (HR2) Research Symposium” May 11 - 14, 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The HR2 Research Symposium will present the latest findings in the fields of health labor markets and scaling up health worker education from the World Bank and other development partners.
The World Bank Africa Health Workforce Program, the World Health Organization, the Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA) and other conference partners will present recent, original peer-reviewed research papers. Possible topics may include health worker student recruitment, scaling up, financing, costing, teaching methodologies, curricula, teaching facilities, school accreditation, faculty development, educational partnerships, and student and program evaluation.
