4th National Midwifery Congress: Achieving the MDGs - Midwives Make the Difference


 

[MALAYSIA] In conjunction with the International Day of the Midwife on May 5th, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang and the Obstetrical and Gynecology Society of Malaysia will be hosting the 4th National Midwifery Congress from May 5th-8th, 2011 in Kuala Lumpur. This year's congress will focus on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the 5 years left to achieve the goal of improved maternal and newborn health.

Topics include: quality midwifery care, midwives and obstetric emergencies, perinatal care in the community, and the vital role of communicating in the community and the hospital. [adapted from conference website]
